the gatehouse
The Gatehouse is a place and program where women and children in crisis receive a hand up to discover a new path for permanent change.
On our 61-acre, debt-free and privately funded campus, up to 250 people annually are empowered to end cycles of abuse and underemployment and build new lives.
Women of The Gatehouse are surrounded by a team of experts who guide them through an individualized program as they work to change the trajectory of their lives and the lives of their children. The members represent all socioeconomic, cultural and racial profiles, and as needed, receive resources to become self-supportive and emotionally, physically, and financially healthy.
Upon completing The Gatehouse Program, women will have established a career path to provide financial stability, and most will be debt-free while children will have had experiences, counseling and a solid foundation for educational and social success.
